Vol-V develops, constructs and operates renewable energy generation power plants with the following technologies:
- In the wind sector, Vol-V’s installed capacity tops 20MW. Vol-V has 31MW fully permitted and to be built within 2012 and 110MW at an advanced stage of development.
- In the solar photovoltaic sector, Vol-V owns a portfolio of 16MW to be constructed by the end of 2011.
- The biomass area is considered as a mid-term growth driver for Vol-V with current development efforts in western France.
Vol-V was founded by three entrepreneurs with almost 15 years of experience in renewable energies in Europe through the creation of four specialized engineering departments and the development of almost 250MW that are today operating or under construction.
Eurofideme 2 invested €15M in Vol-V and its project companies to finance the construction of projects under development and benefit from a growth platform in France. It is consistent with its strategy of investing with experienced renewable energy producers in Europe through financial partnerships and the financing of Greenfield projects.
