Frey Nouvelles Energies is a French project developer in the RE sector which is a subsidiary of la Compagnie Financière Frey.
The firm had a portfolio of 6 MW in operation and around 250 MW under development in Wind, Solar, and Biogas in France and Italy.
EUROFIDEME 2 together with 3 other investment funds invested €14m in the holding company with a pledge of shares of the financed SPVs and a guarantee from the parent company.
At the same time, the club of investors also took a minority equity share in the Holding for an investment of €1m.
