Investment Fund dedicated to renewable energy project finance in Europe

EUROFIDEME 2 is a Greenfield infrastructure fund, managed by Mirova Environment and Infrastructure. The Fund strategy is to be among the leaders in the financing of the renewable energy industry and its investment focus is in European renewable energy infrastructure.

Following on its predecessor FIDEME success, EUROFIDEME 2's objective is to obtain stable returns by investing in sustainable development projects.

EUROFIDEME 2 invests in European renewable power generation projects primarily in solar photovoltaic, wind, hydro and biomass sectors. The target projects are at the pre-construction phase and benefit from proven technologies and European renewable energy regulated tariff. The Fund also invests in experienced development companies to allow them to expand their renewable energy asset portfolios. 

EUROFIDEME 2 investment instruments are convertible bonds and minority equity stakes in project companies and developers with an investment amount of €3-20 million per transaction.

EUROFIDEME 2 benefits from the support of high quality institutional investors, including large financial institutions and Socially Responsible Investment Funds. The fund is targeting the following type of potential investors:

• Banks in France and in Europe
• Insurance / Pension Funds
• Family Offices
• Funds of Funds

The Fund is fully subscripted for an amount of 94M€ since March 2012.
